In 2018, she collaborated with Yoga for Humanity to create Boston’s largest Yoga Day celebration in Copley Square, and led a class with over 300 students in attendance. In 2017, Ali traveled to India for two months and completed a 300-hour advanced training course in the yoga capital of the world, Rishikesh. In 2015, she Tweeted Mayor Marty Walsh about managing the yoga program out of a new mixed-use space, he replied, and YogaHub was born. With a background in synchronized skating and dance, Ali started practicing yoga in college out of a love for movement and fitness.
